Funding of up to $150,000 for equipment purchases and infrastructure work, or funding of up to $300,000 for high-end audiovisual systems and advanced lighting technology.

Overview

Funding is available for venue upgrades, including:

  • equipment purchase and infrastructure works up to $150,000, or
  • high-end audiovisual systems and advanced lighting technology up to $300,000.

Eligible project expenses include, but are not limited to:

  • ventilation
  • soundproofing
  • energy efficiency improvements
  • purchase of production equipment (sound, lighting and staging)
  • LED video walls, projection or mixed-reality screen systems
  • high-end audiovisual systems that enhance audience experience through immersive visuals and live feed integration
  • upgrades to intelligent lighting and control systems, AI-enhanced lighting.

Applications will only be accepted from dedicated NSW live music venues.

Applicants must also be an incorporated entity or trust holding an Australian business number (ABN) or Australian company number (ACN), or be registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 or the Co-operatives National Law (NSW).
