Who is this for?

Individuals (including sole traders) who have been made redundant in the last 12 months.

Overview

Funding is available for individuals made redundant in the last 12 months to help them retrain for another job or career.

Eligible funding uses include:

  • occupational tickets/licences
  • formal education and training
  • non-accredited training.

 

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must:

  • have lost casual, full-time or part-time work in the last 12 months due to retrenchment, downsizing or business closure
  • provide written evidence of job loss, redundancy or retrenchment
  • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with a Tasmanian residential address, or if not a permanent resident, you must meet the VISA classes requirements.
