Who is this for?

Individuals and businesses impacted by the January 2026 bushfires.

Overview

Free removal of eligible bushfire affected structures is now available.

Eligible applicants are invited to complete a registration form.

Check if you can apply

You may be eligible for free clean-up of business structures if you operate a business from a property that:

  • has structures damaged by the January 2026 bushfires
  • is in an eligible council area
  • has an Australian business number (ABN)
  • is uninsured or underinsured
  • you intend to re-establish the business on site.

To be eligible you should either:

  • have 20 or fewer full-time employees, working a combined total less than 700 hours a week, or
  • be a sole trader with no employees and get more than half of your income from the business.

There is no income threshold to be eligible.
