Who is this for?

Owners of heritage listed places/objects based in the Northern Territory.

Overview

Funding is available to protect and manage heritages places or objects in the NT. Priority is given to places and objects on the NT Heritage Register and Aboriginal archaeological places.

Eligible projects must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Physical conservation projects: conservation works to stabilise a place or object, or works that are required to protect significant fabric of a place or object.
  • Research and documentation: projects that support the preservation, protection and management of a place or object.
  • Interpretation: projects that provide education initiatives that will help the public understand the heritage values of a place or object.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must be the owner of the heritage place or object. An owner can be:

  • an individual
  • a private business
  • a non-profit organisation
  • a community group, including an Aboriginal organisation.
