Overview
The NSW Government is delivering a $2.5 million support package to help small businesses impacted by the closure of the Great Western Highway at Victoria Pass from 8 March 2026.
To help sustain operations and mitigate impacts, grants will be made available to eligible small businesses in Mount Victoria, Hartley, Little Hartley, and Hartley Vale.
Approved applicants will receive an initial payment of $5,000. A further $5,000 is available to applicants that can demonstrate a minimum 40% decline in revenue due to the closure of the highway.

To be eligible, you must:
- be physically located in an eligible area and intend to continue operating there
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be registered for goods and services tax (GST) as of 8 March 2026
- have an aggregated turnover of no more than $10 million in the 2024-25 financial year
- employ less than 20 full time (or equivalent) staff as of 8 March.
