Lead the change information session
This webinar provides supervisors and leaders in the hospital, retail, manufacturing and construction industries with information about workplace gender based violence.
Every business has a responsibility to protect employees from harassment and psychological harm. Failure to act can lead to severe penalties – in 2025, a small business was fined $100,000 for failing to manage sexual harassment risks and having no system to address inappropriate behaviour.
This one-hour webinar introduces business leaders, owners and managers, and operational team members to the foundational concepts needed to prevent gendered violence and build a culture of safety and respect – and reduce organisational risk.
By the end of this webinar, participants will:
- understand what gender-based violence is and why it matters for all workplaces
- gain awareness of the legal and cultural responsibilities for preventing and responding to gender-based violence
- recognise the importance of leadership and culture in shaping safe, inclusive and respectful workplaces
- learn where to access Victorian Chamber tools, resources and further training opportunities.
