Following the successful conclusion of treaty negotiations for Australia’s association to Horizon Europe’s FP9 Pillar II program, EURAXESS Australia and New Zealand and the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources are bringing the Horizon Europe Roadshow Australia 2026 to Australia’s 8 state and territory capitals.

Horizon Europe is the European Union’s flagship research and innovation programme. Australia’s planned association opens new opportunities for Australian researchers, research organisations, industry and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and other research and innovation stakeholders to participate in collaborative research and innovation projects with partners across Europe and beyond.

This half-day event will support the Australian research and innovation community in moving from awareness of Horizon Europe to practical preparation for participation. It will combine an overview of the programme and Australia’s association with practical guidance, Australian experiences and an opportunity to ask questions about engaging with Horizon Europe.
